Detroit Country Day School
This past year provided additional opportunities for our community to demonstrate its resilience as well as provide moments of reflection. It is clear our community is strong, and the school excels in many aspects. While we recognize these strengths, it is also an important time to evaluate areas where we can improve and reinforce our resolve to remain an educational leader in our community.
The fundamental core of our community stems from the basic principle that our students' needs, safety, and care are foremost. We embrace our differences and learn to work together. We endeavor to perpetuate an inclusive learning environment where students thrive. Our students continue to shine locally, statewide, and nationally in academics, arts, and athletics.
Your extraordinary generosity this past year during Our Country Day Cares annual fund campaign had an immediate and meaningful impact on all of our children and will serve as a long-lasting education investment. It allowed us to improve our technology, health and safety, and financial aid efforts. We are proud of our accomplishments in these areas.
This year, we are working to elevate our student life programs by providing more extensive programming in health and wellness, co-curricular activities, diversity, equity, and inclusion, including anti-bullying and social media responsibility. We hope to more positively impact the social-emotional health of our students and faculty by directing additional attention to these programs.
On behalf of the Board of Trustees and with deep appreciation, we applaud our dedicated teachers, administrators, and employees who think creatively to make our educational experience even better. We are honored and humbled by the generous donors that choose to support our DCDS community. Thank you for your partnerships and sharing in F.
