Student Support

The care for DCDS students aligns with the school motto mens sana in corpore sano, a sound mind in a sound body. They guide students through the process of identifying their concern to resolution. The DCDS support team partners with parents, teachers, and health care providers in order to ensure the well-being of the whole-child is addressed. Members of the support faculty are well-versed in areas of social and emotional wellness, physical health, and academic challenges. They provide short-term counseling, education support, crisis intervention, health support, and referrals as needed for students, parents, and teachers.
