Arts Faculty Member Recognized in Local Juried Art Show
Melissa Parks, Lower School Visual Arts Faculty, has two paintings represented in this year's Our Town Art Show & Sale at The Community House.  Mrs. Parks has shared both juried pieces this year with her students to supplement curriculum content and help inspire her students. Her big painting titled, BEST DAY EVER received an award and will be present for viewing in person.
 
This was the 37th Our Town Art Show & Sale was held both in-house and virtually at The Community House in Birmingham on March 31st and in a free open house on April 1st. Online viewing and sale will continue through April 15th. This is a fun local art show that is free to the public.
