Come Ride The Bus With Us!

Detroit Country Day School offers a door to door transportation (bus) service to all students. Parents interested in this service for the 2018 - 2019 school year should complete the Detroit Country Day School Transportation Agreement Form below.

Our Bus Stop Program servicing the Millennium Park (45769 Six Mile Road, Northville), Hollywood Market (1495 Rochester Road, Rochester), Novi Civic Center (45175 West Ten Mile Road, Novi) and Troy Civic Center (3179 Livernois, Troy). Family discounts do not apply to the Bus Stop Program. 

Just prior to the opening of the school year, families who register for transportation service will receive information which includes the time of the morning pick up, emergency numbers, and a list of the contact personnel.

If your child requires a late take-home AFTER off-campus athletic practices (not ATHLETIC GAMES), you can arrange this by contacting the Transportation Supervisor, TJones@dcds.edu.  There will be an additional per-semester cost for late take-homes of $1,000.00.  Note: we regret that we cannot provide transportation after athletic games.

Pricing is per student - additional students in a family are discounted at 50% as long as they have the same departure times, if different times are requested a 25% discount will apply. Additionally, pricing will not be pro-rated. Family discounts do not apply to the Bus Stop Program.

The rates listed above are subject to change in the event of increased fuel charges. Charges will be placed on the 10/1 student account statement and must be paid in full by 10/31. 

Detroit Country Day School will not pro-rate prices for late additions.

Detroit Country Day School Transportation Agreement

Please enroll the following student(s) for official transportation service. The non-refundable registration deposit of $100.00 is required for each student. By submitting this agreement I understand that my student's account will be charged the appropriate transportation fee and my transportation deposit will be credited to my student's account in September.

If I withdraw from transportation service after the first day of school, I understand that I am committed to the full transportation charge.







The departure time selected will be the only departure time your student(s) will be allowed to ride the bus. Exceptions may be approved by the transportation department with a 48 hour notice from the parent to the transportation department.
