This information is for the 2023-2024 school year.
Detroit Country Day School offers a door to door transportation (bus) service to all students. Parents interested in this service for the 2023 - 2024 school year should complete the Detroit Country Day School Transportation Agreement Form below.
Our Bus Stop Program servicing the Millennium Park (345701 Six Mile Road, Northville), Hollywood Market (1495 Rochester Road, Rochester), Novi Civic Center (45175 West Ten Mile Road, Novi), and Troy Community Center (3179 Livernois, Troy) will be offered this year. Family discounts do not apply to the Bus Stop Program.
Just prior to the opening of the school year, families who have registered for transportation service will receive information which includes the estimated time of the morning pick up, emergency numbers, and a list of the contact personnel.

If your child requires a late take-home AFTER off-campus athletic practices (not ATHLETIC GAMES), you can arrange this by contacting the Transportation Supervisor, TJones@dcds.edu. There will be an additional per-semester cost for late take-homes of $1,250.00. Note: we regret that we cannot provide transportation after athletic games.
Pricing is per student - additional students in a family are discounted at 50% as long as they have the same departure times, if different times are requested a 25% discount will apply. Additionally, pricing will not be pro-rated. Family discounts do not apply to the Bus Stop Program.
The rates listed above are subject to change in the event of increased fuel charges. Charges will be placed on the 10/1 student account statement and must be paid in full by 10/31.
Route Times
Route times are subject to change during the school year because ridership on routes will change during the school year. Therefore, route times are not guaranteed for the entire school year. The flexible departure times of 3:30 pm or 5:30 pm for riders requires accommodations which impacts the route times.
Detroit Country Day School will not pro-rate prices for late additions.
