what to do
Below are some fun and interesting places to visit and see while you're in metro Detroit.
- Birmingham & Royal Oak both have great, walkable downtown areas with shops and restaurants.
- Fall is a great time to visit a cider mill in Michigan! Franklin Cider Mill is nearby. Or, for a scenic drive, consider Blake's Orchard northeast of us, or Plymouth Orchards if you're headed toward Ann Arbor.
- Somerset Collection is an indoor mall with shops and restaurants. Be sure to check out The Detroit Shoppe for all things Detroit. 100% of profits go to local charities.
