Purposes and Objectives:
The general purposes and objectives of the Association shall be to support and promote the Fine and Performing Arts curriculum, activities, and programs of the students attending Detroit Country Day School, and to encourage the continued further development and growth of a nationally recognized Fine and Performing Arts program.  Further, the purpose of the Association shall be to encourage support of the endeavors and programs of the Friends of the Arts Association through active annual membership by parents, friends, alumni, employees, and students and additional contributions by same.
