Community Service

Service to others is an integral part of the Detroit Country Day School experience. Detroit Country Day School is virtually never without one or more service projects in progress, whether through divisions, clubs, classes, or advisories. Service initiatives begin at the Detroit Country Day Lower School, where students learn that their small acts of kindness can make a big difference in the lives of others. We continue through Junior and Middle School, where students become involved with outreach organizations. By the time students reach the Detroit Country Day Upper School, they fully understand that privilege and service go hand in hand.

Detroit Country Day School is a private, independent, co-educational, non-denominational, college preparatory school focused on academics, arts, athletics and superior character development. With campuses in Beverly Hills, Michigan and Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, Detroit Country Day School educates students from grades pre-k, starting at age 3, through 12, providing a well-rounded liberal arts education where the scholar-athlete-artist can thrive.
