The Centennial Campaign for DCDS

As we approach our 100th anniversary, Detroit Country Day School is at a watershed moment in its history.

A stunning $25 million challenge grant has given our school a rare chance to extend its competitive superiority and secure its future!

This anonymous benefactor's donation, a dollar-for-dollar match of contributions to the Centennial Campaign's endowment or facilities objectives, will finally give Country Day a reasonable endowment. A permanently funded endowment also will permit the moderation of future tuition-cost increases. As we are able to raise matching contributions, these will provide urgently needed athletic facilities and leading-edge arts and academics programs.

A second anonymous benefactor has offered a $5 million challenge! This match is designed to secure construction of the much-needed and brilliant new athletic center.

Finally, we have added the traditional annual giving program to the other campaign objectives for an overall Centennial goal of $60 million.

The benefactors, with input from the rest of the Country Day family, have designed this transformational Campaign to be a big stretch for all Country Day donors. It is several times the size of any previous campaign. It will be successful only if each of us can reach to our maximum capacity.
