Detroit Country Day School develops and serves highly motivated and capable students seeking a challenging, disciplined and personal learning environment in a model college preparatory school. In addition to classroom involvement, students are engaged by caring faculty and staff members in advisory, athletic, performance and service activities where they have the daily opportunity to develop personal responsibility, self-assurance, and respect for the dignity of others. While preparing well-rounded individuals for continuing educational pursuits and leadership past their Detroit Country Day years, DCDS produces graduates who care about and contribute to their community and the larger world's humanity.
